C’est à Salvador de Bahia, lors d’une jam session nocturne, que la chanteuse Dandara Modesto et le guitariste Edwin Correia se rencontrent pour la première fois. Cette connexion musicale instantanée marque le début d’une collaboration qui transcende les frontières géographiques et artistiques.
Le duo explore un univers sonore où se mêlent la richesse de leur héritage afro-brésilien et la liberté créative du jazz. Portés par des textes poétiques et des mélodies délicates, ils assemblent rythmes traditionnels, harmonies modernes et effets électroniques pour créer des paysages musicaux à la fois oniriques et profondément ancrés dans l’ancestralité.
Leurs premier album, Chama, est sorti le 30 avril 2026.
